Installation is usually completed in a matter of days without much, if any, disturbance to the landscaping. The process is simple: A steel anchor rod is inserted horizontally through the wall into the outside earth. A steel anchor is then attached to the rod through a hole in the ground. The rod is connected to the anchor plate and tightened until the pressure of the solid soil is pulled to tighten the failing wall. If there is a patio, deck, or sidewalk in between the failing soil and the anchor hole, that is not a problem.

They are so professional but friendly. The workers were personable and professional. They did awesome job in explaining what they were doing and why. Mike and his team at Ark Waterproofing solved one of the largest headaches I've endured as a new home owner. Due to the age of my home I was regularly experiencing water issues with my old Pittsburgh basement. Mike came out the same week I called him and provided an estimate in minutes. He walked me from front to back regarding the process and we were scheduled 2 weeks out. Compared to the 3 other companies I engaged Ark was by far the cheapest and solved my issue with a minimally invasive strategy.
Since then my basement has been nearly bone dry and my foundation is protected. His team was professional,on time, and did all the work the same day. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Since having our basement waterproofed by ARK in November 2021, we have not had any issues since. Our sump pump runs more than I had expected it to, removing a surprising amount of water from our foundation. The guys were friendly and accommodating to my questions and requests while they were here. We are very happy with the quality of their work and the performance of the drainage system so far.

The boys from Arc are the most wonderful men I have had the pleasure to meet in a long time. No hasseling, no fooling around just work, work, work. I still have not stopped smiling about the look to my basement. For 39 years I have stepped on to a damp/wet cement floor trying to do laundry became a lesson in speed and balance. You know, don't slide, catch the white shirt that's falling to the wet muddy floor.
Now it's just walk normal and shake the "dust" off that shirt that fell out of the basket. I love this company not a complaint from me about anything. I will tell all my friends and family to use Ark. Thank you all. Valerie

ARK team just worked on my parents basement in Erie, PA. I am so relieved that I chose them to do the job. They were great bunch of people to work with. Professional, personal, just gave you that warm fuzzy feeling for sure. But more importantly, they did a super, super job on the house. The basement was previously a horrendous mess with cracked walls, water coming in at the base of the foundation, which had been going on for some time, and of course, lots of mold! :- They put in whole internal drainage system, two new submersible pumps, fixed cracks in the wall, killed the mold, and anything else to make it a safe and dry basement like it should've been.
Their prices were very competitive, but quality was supreme. I would definitely recommend them again and again. Fix your basement now and enjoy the results for a lifetime. These guys are the ones to call. You won't regret it!

During the recent storms I had water coming in from everywhere. We called and even though they had other customers to see, they came out the next day and assessed the problem. Then 2 days later came back and fixed the problem even though they were extremely busy. They did a great job and being that it rained yesterday on 6/21/21 and I have a dry basement!
Great work and I recommend them to all my family and friends!! Thanks again to the receptionist who made it possible for the guys to come out and the workers who did a great job!!!

We just went through a terrible experience with the first waterproofer we hired. Although they were very bust they made time for our job since we were already 2 months behind. They explained everything they were going to do to the basement. They also gave us a great warranty. We had the concrete poured the day after they left and one of the corners got messed up.
I called the owner and he sent someone out that weekend, they had to break through the concrete to repair it. It wasn't a huge job, but there was a lot of labor involved to break up the concrete and repour. We couldn't be happier, they did everything right as a business and also beyond in my opinion. We highly recommend Ark.

This company was almost perfect. The family owners were great to work with and it was the most well priced company I found after talking to about 6 companies. After roughly six months, the basement has not had any leaks and everything is going well. The only minor complaints that I have is that one crew member seemed very new and some of his work was not up to the standards of the other crew members.
The material placed around the bottom of the wall to catch any moisture that may come from the wall was placed very high along the section that the new guy was working on. Eventually I will finish the basement and put a wall over it so it is not that big of a deal. Overall, great company and great job.
