I just used ACJ Remodeling-Joseph Ashley for a complete tear down on my roof. It is a connected townhome, so it was not as cut and dry due to the considerations of neighbors and space on a narrow street. Joe and his team were top notch from the consultation and price quote, signing of the contract and the start date of the job. It was a breath of fresh air watching how professional and efficient his team was and how they knocked out the job in one day without sacrificing quality. They cleaned up completely and now feel so relieved I finally got this big project done. If you need a plus 10 quality roof on a row house or a mansion, this is the place to call. My first impression of Joseph Ashley is quite favorable. He made promises and kept them. He kept checking with me to see if I was satisfied. To me, he was and is a real gentleman It brings to my mind the saying "there is a right way and there is a wrong way of doing it". However, I almost succumbed to the error everybody else is making. They feel they can it cheaper and save a few thousand.
Do they think people are stupid? If they can get it cheaper it"s for a reason. Either parts of the job are left out or inferior material is used They want to feel good they saved a few thousand I say "later for them".

I am writing this review a year later after the roof was completed and I am happy to say that the roof has been great so far - we weathered several tropical storms in 2020, and the roof showed no evidence of that. The work was competitively priced (reasonably so, not suspiciously low), and they made a slight adjustment I requested that deviated slightly from what they usually do.
The work was completed in the timeline promised - which I believe was 2 days - roof was totally ripped off, damaged beams were fixed, and a new roof was installed. They came back to fix a very very minor thing we noticed after inspecting the completed job. I would say that this was the most stress-free major renovation project I have done.

I needed a new roof down to the rafters as well as 3 new skylights. They were meticulous, professional, punctual and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. As some of you may know a job like this can be a little daunting for a homeowner, but they made sure to provide a level of comfort throughout the entire process. As far as I'm concerned, Joseph Ashley is the best in the business. I highly recommend calling them for any of your home improvement needs.

We own a house in Brooklyn which we bought 5 years ago and knew that it was time to redo the roof. We needed a roofing contractor who was going to be able to get the job done quickly as me and my husband are busy. We found ACJ Remodeling right here in Brooklyn - Joe was great he came out and gave us a great estimate and the crew delivered what they promised. Joseph Ashley ACL Remodeling Inc. just finished replacing the siding on my house, which included shutters, gutters, trim and installation of new outside light fixtures. My husband and I priced around, but after meeting with the owner, Joseph Ashley, we chose his company because he was very knowledgeable and informative without the pressure. We liked how he worked with us, the quality of the samples he showed us and the pricing was right.

I was concerned on who to call on my needed roof repair. After meeting Joseph Ashley, I was no longer uncertain. Joseph was punctual, honest, and reassuring.
