Services
In 1979, Arlindo Augusto founded A&J Construction after several years of comprehensive study and experience within the paving industry. Three years later, Ray Boa joined the already-thriving business as a silent partner, lending his astute management skills to the budding company. His additional leadership, along with the unwavering collaboration with Arlindo Augusto, guided A&J to the full-service construction and paving provider it is today.
At A&J Construction, safety is our foremost priority and consistent focus. The highest adherence to safety standards is an integral part of our company's culture, which requires a commitment to continuous training and education. All workplaces at A&J Construction are required to maintain strict control standards, managing potential hazards and minimizing incidents at all times. This priority is accomplished through our system of safe work practices, above-standard quality levels, and unmatched environmental compliance.
After nearly four decades of experience and mastery in the field, A&J provides comprehensive paving services to the Connecticut and New York areas. While consistently utilizing leading, modern technology and practices, A&J excels in the asphalt reconstructions of state, municipal, commercial, industrial, educational, athletic, retail and larger residential properties.
An area of specialization for A&J Construction, milling is the process of grinding and removing existing asphalt pavement, creating the desired elevation. This service can be accomplished both uniformly to reflect a continuous grade or, in contrast, to a non-uniform final grade profile. The milled surfaces can also be altered to a level in which new binder and/or a top course of asphalt is installed to the desired grade.

They are doing the roads in Stamford, they were loud, parked where they weren't supposed to and washed their street sweeper with the garbage running right down the street. They waste gas, sat for an hour with the four truck engines running. I hope someone else sees this and looks into it.
