Iv'e always had prompt service and have always been satisfied. Have had two systems put in, the last was a switch over from heat pump to gas furnace. Mark is the best Service: Heating system installation

We have had service performed by A&A for the past 10 years. Have never had a problem with them, they arrive when they said they would. Have always fixed the problem, and had a reasonable price for services rendered.

HORRIBLE Service. Our air conditioner went out in the middle of summer, and we were desperately making calls trying to get someone to repair our AC. We got a hold of someone at A&A who said they would be able to come to our house that day. When the technician arrived, he literally spent less than ten minutes at our home. He never went in the basement to investigate the problem, only checked the outdoor unit and said we were low on freon.

The technician told us that he put 3lbs of freon in and charged us $333.00. Our air conditioning worked for only a few hours. We contacted A&A again and were told that they would not be coming back for at least three days. We contacted another company, who sent a technician out immediately. The second technician found that the valve was very loosely put on - he could remove it with just his fingers - and our Freon was low again.

The second technician also ran diagnostic testing and determined that there was no other leak in our system. He refilled the Freon, tightened the valve with a wrench and thread, and we have not had a problem with our AC since. I contacted the owner about this and he was EXTREMLEY rude. When I asked for a reimbursement since the repair was not done correctly, the owner of the company, Mark, laughed at me and said that they do not reimburse.

When my husband called to try to talk to him, Mark was extremely rude to him also and then hung up on him. Mark also misrepresented the company by telling us that he was accredited by the Better Business Bureau, which is false. Go ahead and call this company if you would like horrible customer service and feel like flushing your money down the toilet. Will NEVER use this company again and will warn everyone I know.

A&A - BAD RESPONSE! I agree 100% with you - the original freon didn't just evaporate. There might be a 'pinhole' leak that allowed the Freon to escape over a period of many years. BUT.you just admitted that your technician never fixed the leak - he simply added freon & charged the homeowner over $300 knowing full well that there must be a leak. The fact that he never tightened the service ports just sped up the process so that the $300 of freon leaked out within 24 hours.

In legal terms, that is called NEGLIGENCE. So Mark, why would your technician add Freon without finding and repairing the leak? As you say, COMMON SENSE SHOULD PREVAIL! You don't fix a Freon leak by just adding more Freon! This would be like someone having a hole in their car's gas tank, so you fill up the tank with gas and charge the customer over $300 for fixing the problem. Oh, and in the process you loosen the gas line so that the gas leaks out even faster than before. Sounds to me like you owe the homeowner a full refund and an apology.
